The Moose Jaw Warriors faced off with the Saskatoon Blades for their 6th and final pre-season game at home. The Warriors went into the night with a 4-1 record.The Warriors got the first marker of the evening from #12, Joey Kornelsen. Kornelsen added his second of the night and the Warriors second goal.
Saskatoon's Lukas Sutter fought back with a goal on Brandon Stone to end the first 2-1.
Brett Lyon was the first to score in the second; making it 3-1 Warriors. Nick Zajac scored next for the Blades making it a 3-2 game.
Third period started off with a goal from Levi Bews of the Blades; tieing the game at three goals a piece. Warriors Sean Aschim found the back of the net for the go ahead goal. Torrin White added one more goal to make it a 5-3 win for the tribe.
The Warriors were 3 for 8 on the power play and shot 20 goals on net.
Next action... Home Opener on Thursday September 22nd.
