As the Moose Jaw Warriors get ready to drop the puck on the 2011-2012 regular season, they'll gather with fans later today at Mosaic Place.
The team is holding it's annual season ticket holder BBQ, 5-7pm in the shadows of their new home. The WHL is also using this as their official launch of the upcoming season.
Among the special guests scheduled to be in attendance are Warrior Hall of Famers Mike Keane and Mark MacKay, last year's captain and fan favourite Spencer Edwards, and WHL Commissioner Ron Robison.
Season ticket holders received a voucher for the BBQ in their packages. Non season ticket holders can join the fun and have a burger and drink for the small charge of $5.
Just a reminder that as of Wednesday morning there are less than 100 tickets available for Thursday's home opener against Brandon. To check on ticket availability, call the Warriors office at 694-5711, or go online to mjwarriors.ca.
If you're not able to make the game, join James Gallo, Derek Kletzel, and Marc Smith on Country 100. The Pre Game Show is on the air at 6:40pm, on ice ceremonies are scheduled to start around 7pm, the opening faceoff is expected around 7:30pm. Country 100 will have all of the pre game festivities live on the radio.
