Monday Morning

Back to work Monday with something new--- the sun! About time it showed up.

Game three of the Stanley Cup Finals is back on the TV tonight.  Aftr travelling from coast to coast, over 5000 km's, Game 3 will play out tonight in Boston.  We had the game on out at the BBQ Saturday night.  Ready for a long OT, no one was ready for the crazy game winning goal by the Canucks.  Can the Bruins come back down 2-0?  Vancouver looks solid and deep... It is going to be a tough battle for the black and yellow.  Boston did pull it off vs. Montreal....

From the Globe and Mail.... According to a report Sunday, Rick Dudley, the general manager of the Atlanta Thrashers when they were sold to True North Sports and Entertainment, Ltd., last week, was told on the weekend he is not welcome in Winnipeg.

While head coach Craig Ramsay remains in limbo pending a meeting this week with True North chairman Mark Chipman and his hockey adviser, Craig Heisinger, he is also expected to be fired.Chicago Blackhawks assistant general manager Kevin Cheveldayoff has been offered the job in Winnipeg .  Here is the full story... http://www.theglobeandmail.com/sports/hockey/report-chicago-assistant-gm-offered-winnipeg-job/article2047824/

Winnipeg already hit their season ticket goal of 13,000.  Wow!

Another WHL head coaching job opened up this past weekend.  Craig Hartsburg is leaving Everett for a post in the NHL.  To date, the Warrior, Seattle and now Everett are in the market for a new head coach.

The WHL Ride for Kids kicked off yesterday and will be making its way accross Saskatchewan.  It will stop in Moose Jaw on Wednesday.... Events start at 4:30 pm with a BBQ on main by the Scotia Bank.  From there things will move to the Hillcrest at 7 pm and a reception and auction to begin at 8:30 pm at the Hillcrest.  Come out--- its all free admission!

Tune into the Heartland at Noon on CHAB today for the scoop on the upcoming Warrior events.

Have a great day!
