The game may not have started off as Warriors fans may have hoped; but the end was exactly what the tribe is known for-- a battle until the end. An early goal, only seconds into the first period from Dyson Stevenson set the tone for the visiting team early on. A second Pats goal from Ricard Blindstrand gave the red and blue a two goal lead after one.
Second period seen the start of a Warrior come back. With help from a Dylan Hood power play goal and another from Andrew Johnson; and the game would be tied up. The Pats would get a lucky bounce that would land on the stick of Trent Ouellette and end up behind Thomas Heemskerk. 3-2 Regina after the second.

Final twenty was all Warriors. Sam Fioretti started the rush of goals followed by Dylan Hood's second of the night. With a one goal lead, the Warriors did not let up. A fourth Warrior goal and the third for Dylan Hood would be good enough for the win. Dylan McIlrath had a pair of assists as did Quinton Howden.
The Pats did have to call on the services of Matt Hewitt after Damien Ketlo took himself out of the game after being shaken up in the second. Warriors hang on for two points with Thomas Heemskerk's 20 saves holding up for a win.
