The Moose Jaw Warriors were in Calgary tonight for the first game of their road trip. Twenty year old Dylan Hood had quite a night, adding three goals to his stats. Hood started things off with the first goal of the game at 9:41. Captain Spencer Edwards snapped in another on the man advantage for a 2 goal lead.
Second period, off the hop at 1:16 former Hitmen, Cody Beach nailed another one past Michael Snider. Justin Kirsch would get just a single goal past Warriors goalie, Thomas Heemskerk. 3-1 to end the second.
Final twenty added another three tribe markers. Joey Kornelsen beat Snider followed by an empty netter for Dylan Hood. Hood would find his hat trick before the final buzzer on the power play for a 6-1 final score. Former Warriors Brandon Glover made a brief appearance, being sent in with 9:16 left in the game.
Dylan McIlrath had 2 assists on the night; Spencer Edwards goes home with 3 points. Warriors were 9 for 9 on the PK and 2 for 6 on the PP.
Warriors next stop is Vancouver on the 30th followed by a New Years eve battle with the Bruins.
