So much hockey on today!
First, the Warriors have begun their BC road trip by making their first stop in Calgary. As you will recall, the Hitmen and Warriors have a little bit of history this season.... after a tough first round series in last years playoffs and a 5 player trade this season will make tonights game interesting. The Warriors will continue on to Vancouver after that.
Quinton Howden and Team Canada will face Warriors Tony Honejsek and team Czech Republic this afternoon after a 6-3 win against the Russians on Boxing Day.
Warriors Morgan Rielly and Brayden Cuthbert are in Manitoba for the World Under 17 Championships today for pre-competition games before competition gets under way. January 4th is the gold medal game.
Due to four Warriors off on international duty, the Warriors have called up Bantam draftees Brandon Potomak and Matt Franczyk.
The Spengler Cup is on again today... watch for former Warrior Curtis Brown.
