Warriors Fall to Wheaties

It may not have been the game the Warriors had hoped to have as their last home game before Christmas break, but it seemed tonight would just not be the tribe’s night. Rookie goaltender Brandon Stone spent the night between the pipes.

Brandon scored 6 goals—with three coming from star forward Scott Glennie. The Wheaties held Moose Jaw to just 8 shots in the first two periods. The Warriors only goal of the night came from Import forward, Michal Hlinka. Hlinka’s goal also brought down the stuffed toys for the annual teddy bear toss night.

Brandon Stone faced 29 shots in the loss. The Warriors went 1/5 on the power play and were 3/3 on the penalty kill. The Warriors split the home and home series with Brandon, having one last night in a shoot out 4-3.
