Quinton Howden and team Canada will take on Switzerland tonight in Oshawa as their first pre-competition action. The team practiced all last week in preparation for the upcoming tournament. Returnee Ryan Ellis was named team captain on the weekend.
The team will be back in action Tuesday in Toronto against Sweden and in Niagra Falls on Thursday for a match up with Finland.
First game of the tournament will hit television on Boxing Day.
On a different note... according to Bob Mackenzie of TSN's latest tweet... the Swed's, German's and Norway's equipment did not make the same flight over as they did! The German's went out an purchased new equipment... the other two... no word.
