Enough said... Warriors pulled off a shoot out win tonight in Prince Albert.
First star (for Warriors fans and second star in the game) of the night, rightly so... Thomas Heemskerk who faced 49 shots and saved 45 of them.
Tonight's game had goals from Dylan McIlrath, Nathan MacMaster, Danny Gayle and the clutch goal came from Morgan Rielly. Great night for the young Warriors with everyone contributing... even when the Raiders were able to keep Howden, Hood and Edwards off the score sheet.
Tony Honejsek had the game winning goal in the shoot out, scoring the lone SO goal. Thomas Heemskerk made all three saves. Warriors did not get a single power play opportunity tonight with just one PA penalty all night (Kornelsen and Svendsen each received a roughing). Warriors were 3/5 on PK.
Warriors win it 5-4 in OT.
