Warriors and Rebels Today

 Last night in Saskatoon
The Moose Jaw Warriors allowed a goal with 20 seconds left in the game last night, losing 6-4 in Saskatoon.  Jesse Paradis and Spencer Edwards led the tribe with a goal and two points each; Dylan Hood and Connor Cox had one goal each; Collin Bowman, Danny Gayle, Nathan MacMaster, Quinton Howden, and Antonin Honejsek had one assist each; Thomas Heemskerk made 28 saves in the loss.  Darian Dziurzynski led the Blades with a hat trick; Curtis Hamilton had two goals and three points Braeden Johnson had three assists; Steven Stanford made 22 saves in the win.  The Warriors were 2/4 on the power play and 2/2 on the penalty kill.

Today vs Red Deer
Tonight is the first meeting of the season between the Warriors and Red Deer Rebels.  Moose Jaw was 1-2-0-1 against the Rebels last year; their only win was a 4-1 decision on September 30th, 2009.  Red Deer outscored the Warriors 12-9.  Moose Jaw is 9-9-0-2 against the Rebels in the last five years, posting a 6-2-0-2 record at home.
Spencer Edwards led the Warriors with a goal and four points against the Rebels; Brendan Rowinski had three goals; Quinton Howden had two goals and three points; Dylan McIlrath had one goal and 21 penalty minutes; Connor Cox and Jesse Paradis had an assist each.
Landon Ferraro led the Rebels last year with three goals and six points against the Warriors; Ryan Nugent-Hopkins had three goals and four points; Josh Cowen had two goals and four points; Andrej Kudrna had a goal and three points; Brett Ferguson had three assists; Alex Petrovic had two assists; John Persson and Justin Weller had one goal each; Darcy Kuemper was 3-1 with a 2.20gaa and .922sv%.
