Thursday Thoughts

What a busy day yesterday!  It is great to have the coaching staff in place and for things to get rolling.  Mike Stothers and his wife Judi seem like fantastic people and I guarantee the fans in Moose Jaw are going to love to get to know the Stothers.  Mike will be on the Sports Cage tonight around 4 pm. 

Mike Vandenberghe resigned as Assistant Coach yesterday.  For those of you who don't know Mike--- he is a very smart individual.  He is has designed his own software for breaking down hockey games and is always looking to improve himself.  Check out his website, www.redgoatsports.com as he also hosts his own hockey camps.  Very excited that Mike will be back. 

Quinton Howden is in Florida for Panther's camp this week.  Looks like he is having a great time and working hard as ever.  He will be heading to World Junior camp the first week of August.

Did you catcht the ESPY's last night?  Bruins goaltender, Tim Thomas took home the Best Championship Performance and Best NHL Player last night.  Seth Meyers was the host.  I am a big Seth fan from SNL.  Did you see ball star, Brian Wilson's spandex tuxedo. 

I suggested James Gallo, the Voice of the Warriors get one for Home Opener.... We will see what he decides...
