The Telus Cup Western Regionals gets under way today at the Crushed Can. The Moose Jaw Generals, the host team will take on the Northern Ontario Champs, Thunder Bay Kings at 7:30 tonight. Warriors prospect, Carter Hansen will be on the ice for the home team.
There will be a few faces you may recognize in this weekends AAA action. The Prince Albert Mintos, Bryden Serafini came to Warriors Summer Camp. Bryden is listed with the Pats.
Goaltender for the Winnipeg Thrashers, Alex Henry was also a camp attendee(#1... there is another Alex Henry on the team on the back end) Alex wore #29 at camp.
There will be a ton of WHL draftees and future Dub stars on display this weekend. Come out and watch some great hockey action. Winner will be headed to the East coast for the Telus Cup. Last year, Warriors Rookie, Morgan Rielly was the winner of the the prized Cup with the Notre Dame Hounds. Tickets are available at the door. I've heard over 1000 passes have been sold for the weekend.
