The middle frame saw the Warriors take the lead utilizing the man advantage. The Warriors scored back-to-back powerplay goals after the midpoint of the period. Cam Breas scored the first, his 31st of the season, with a wrist shot at 13:37 of the second. James Henry gave the Warriors the lead less than a minute later with his 11th of the season. Eric Arnold got his club on the board with a nice backhand to the top shelf in tight. The Warriors did fall behind 2-0 when Brady Brassart scored 16 seconds into the period, but answered with four including the empty net goal by Kenton Miller. Miller finished up the night with a goal and two helpers. Justin Kirsch also had a pair of assists in the game.

The opening period saw the Warriors fall behind 1-0 to the Hitmen just short of five minutes into the game. Jimmy Bubnick scored on his rebound after a one-on-one showdown with Luke Siemens. Siemens, later in the period, made a save on a penalty shot awarded to Alex Gogolev to hold the score. The Warriors would end the period only trailing by one with Siemens shutting the door.

With the two consecutive road wins, the Warriors record away from Mosaic is now (11-12-3-0). The club is now just one game below the even mark and all the questions about road record can be put to bed. The victory also evened the season series with the Hitmen, similar to last year's four game split.

The Red Deer Rebels are the final opponent for the Warriors on this road trip. The puck drop is set for 8:30 p.m. CST.
