WARRIORS RANKED BY NHL CENTRAL SCOUTING

The Moose Jaw Warriors want to congratulate the three Warriors' skaters listed by NHL Central Scouting in their mid-season rankings for the upcoming June Draft in Pittsburgh.

All three ranked Warriors are defenseman. Morgan Rielly tops the Warriors nominees ranked in the number five spot. Travis Brown and Shayne Gwinner are ranked 79th and 158th respectively.

Morgan Rielly, the smooth skating defenseman, is ranked in the top 5 of North American skaters. The 6'0 197 pounder from Vancouver, B.C. played 18 games this season before injuring his knee. Before the injury, Rielly was a point a game pace with 18 points in 17 games. This is Rielly's second campaign with the Warriors last season, he played 65 games amassing 28 points (6G, 22A).

Travis Brown is in his rookie season with the Warriors. The 6'1" 170 lbs defenseman from Winnipeg, MB, has 12 points in 35 games (3G,9A) this season. Brown played three games in 2010-11 season.

Shayne Gwinner, also a 94, is in his first full campaign with the WHL club. The Drumheller native, has appeared in 30 games this season recording 7 points (1G,6A). Last season, Gwinner like Brown played three games with the club.

The Warriors head out on the road again. They tangle with the Hitmen on Friday at the Scotiabank Saddledome, game time is 8 p.m. CST. Then they travel east on the #1 Highway to Medicine Hat to play the Tigers at 8:30 p.m. CST. The club finally returns home after an 18 day absence from Mosaic Place to play the Brandon Wheat Kings on Sunday to finish up a three games in three nights set. Puck drop at Mosaic is 7 p.m.
