GAME SUMMARY

Warriors at Pats

In their second game this weekend, the Warriors had to play in another overtime game. The Regina Pats took the extra point Saturday night with a 3-2 overtime win. Last night, the Warriors were the victors taking two points from Kootenay in an extra time game. The Warriors earned three out of a possible four points and hold top spot in the East Division with 62 points.

The Warriors held the lead after two periods. Cody Beach opened the scoring in the second with his 11th goal on the season, that goal gave him 100 career WHL points. Eric Arnold got the second Warrior goal in the second who lead 2-1 after 40 minutes. The Pats tied the game on a successful penalty shot in the third. And the Pats ended the game 30 seconds into overtime when the puck was redirected into the Warriors net.
Spencer Tremblay made 28 saves on 31 shots. Tremblay was named the third star. This was the first time the rookie Tremblay has played three games in a row this season.
