WARRIORS FIND FOURTH PRE-SEASON WIN

The Moose Jaw Warriors were ready to go for their second game at Mosaic Place this year. After coming home from a 6-4 win across the border into Manitoba; the Warriors started off the night with a goal from 19 year old forward, Sean Aschim.

The Wheaties managed to get one past Warrior goal tender, Spencer Tremblay early in the first. The tribe fought back with their second of the contest from Markus McCrea, a stand in defensemen for the Warriors with a trim blue line due to NHL camps.

The Warriors would add one more to close out the period from 2010 first round draft pick, Torrin White. Score to end the first: 3-1 Warriors. The lone goal of the second period was scored by Brandon’s Alessio Bertaggia.

Third period featured a flurry of scoring, starting with Swiss forward, Eric Arnold making it a 4-2 Warrior lead. Dylan Kuczek scored on the power play bringing Brandon to within one.

Carter Hansen fought back with a power play goal of his own; 5-3 Warriors. Ryley Miller scored Brandon's fourth goal of the game; ensuring a extra man on the ice for Brandon as they looked for that tieing goal.

Brandon would be turned away and see a Jordan Wyton empty net goal for a 6-4 Warrior win. The tribe was 2/6 on the power play and 1/2 on the penalty kill. Corbin Boes was 22/27 on the night and Spencer Tremblay 25/29.

Next Warriors action.... Friday the 16th vs Saskatoon.
