Monday Morning

Happy Monday!

Busy weekend for Warrior players! Quinton Howden continued his quest to earn a second straight spot on Canada's World Junior Team.  He had a goal in Team White's 5-4 win Saturday night.  Here is the game summary, http://www.hockeycanada.ca/index.php/ci_id/75138/la_id/1/game_id/172020/season_id/171978/ss_id/56000/

Morgan Rielly faces off against team Sweden this morning at the U-18 Championship at the Ivan Hlinka Memorial Championship in Europe. Best of luck to Morgan!

Did you happen to see the All State All Canadians Mentorships Game on Saturday?  The Warriors had two prospects, Brayden Point and Miles Warkentine featured in the game with Jason Spezza taking on Luke Schenn. Both players had a great showing, including 2 goals from Point and a shoot out highlight reel style goal from the 5'6 dynamite.

It was great seeing these young players having fun and showing off the future of hockey.  The high scoring game ended with a score of 9-8.

Watch the CTV News at Noon tomorrow, myself and Corey Nyhagen will be on talking Hall of Fame Weekend...

Busy week ahead for us... next week starts the seat selection and Hall of Fame Weekend; so that means this week is all about moving and getting settled.

Have a great day!
