WHL Ride

The WHL ride came and went through Moose Jaw yesterday.  The celebrity riders arrived at 4:00 to the Scotia Bank and were greeted by Scotia Bank employees and fans.  The riders that made the treck said the trip was great!

The riders then made their way over to the Hillcrest for more autographs, a reception and auction.  After a few stories, speechs and fun the auction items were auctioned off by Kelly Chase.  Mike Keane brought out a few surprise jerseys with signed Kane and Toews Blackhawk jerseys.  NHL experience trips were auctioned off, with Maple Leaf Colby Armstrong adding to the package with a pre-game skate invite and dressing room tour.  A great deal of funds were raised through the auction and a great deal of support was shown for the Saskatchewan's Children Hospital.

The riders are on the last leg of their race to Regina today and will finish off the WHL Ride for Kids in the Queen City.

A big thank you to everyone who supported the ride and took part in the event.  Here are a few photos from yesterday.
