A little late on the post this morning, been working on Prospect Features on some of our exciting attendees at the June Camp. You won't want to miss them or coming to check out these young men on ice over the course of the Camp.
How about the Canucks? Quite the game. No green men-- flashing lady, Bieksa and Marleau fight, stupid penalties by Ben Eager. Everytime I looked up he was shaking his head in the penatly box...
The Sedin's seem to be back to their twin magic scoring 5 points.
Boston and Tampa will resume the series tonight tied at 1-1. Last game was an offensive explosion! Will the defense tighten up a bit for tonight?
The Memorial Cup gets underway tomorrow. By some accounts the favorites heading in are the QMJHL representatives, the St John Sea Dogs. The Sea Dogs spent 15 weeks on top of the CHL standings. They boast 6 NHL draftees and 9 players likley to be drafted in the 2011 draft. The Dogs will take on the host Mississauga franchise in the first game of the Mem Cup tomorrow.
The host team also features four very skilled forwards and NHL draft picks in Devante-Smith Pelly, Justin Shugg, Casey Cizikas and Maxim Kitsyn. It should be a great opening game.
Assistant Coach Brad McCrimmon of the Red Wings will not be returning for the 2011/12 season.... he is the older brother of Wheat Kings GM and Head Coach, Kelly McCrimmon.
Tomorrow the Warriors staff will be tackling the Civic Center and getting ready for our big move. The office will be closed after 12 pm.
