White and Gwinner Head into Division Finals

Warrior prospects Shayne Gwinner and Torrin White are heading into Division Finals in the AMHL. Both players represent the UFA Bisons of Strathmore. The Bisons knocked out the Calgary Flames in a 4 games to get to the finals.

Gwinner has 7 points in playoffs alone. White finished the regular season with 49 points in 33 games. The Bisons will go to work tonight in Red Deer to take on the Red Deer Optomist Rebels on the road.

The other division final features Leduc and Sherwood Park. Leduc took the first game of the series. All four teams are hoping to earn a berth to to the 2010/11 Telus Cup in Newfoundland this year.

The Moose Jaw Generals will be hosting Telus Cup Regionals from March 31-April 3. The Generals will host the league champions from SK, MB and N. Ontario for the Western Regional Qualifier where the winner will get a ticket to the Newfoundland on April 18th-29th. Tickets are on sale now.... http://www.mjgenerals.ca/home/

  1. Moose Jaw has prospects in both Division Finals as Torrin White and Shayne Gwinner represent UFA Bisons and Braiden Doucette represents Leduc Oil Kings. Great Job Moose Jaw!
