Warriors vs Ice... Tonight!

The Warriors took a 2 game series lead on the 4th ranked Kootenay Ice Tuesday night. The tribe has shut out the ice twice in three games—both times scoring 4 goals on the Ice. The team improved on special teams Tuesday night, notching 2 power play goals. The Warriors were 0/16 prior to last night in the first two games.

Warriors Cody Beach and Dallas Ehrhardt will be out of the line up for tonight. Additions to the line up include young Brandon Potomak (#32) who had his home debut Tuesday. Matt Franczyk held down the blue line for the tribe and will be balancing out the defence.

Brett Lyon was welcomed back to the Crushed Can Tuesday and made his presence known with a fist fight with Jagger Dirk. Brett missed the first two games of the series due to a 4 game suspension he received in Saskatoon at the end of the regular season.

Jesse Paradis has had a solid playoff showing… notching two assists and a goal in three games. Jesse played along side Quinton Howden and Antonin Honejsek Tuesday night and at times Sam Fioretti and Joey Kornelsen.

Thomas Heemskerk turned away 28 shots in game three and even stoned the visiting team on a two man advantage in the third. Heemskerk has a .969 save % in the playoffs.
