Quinton has tallied 1 goal and 3 assists in the tournament this far, scoring his first goal of the game against the scoring Swed’s in losing 6-5 SO game.
Quinton and Team Canada will face the tough USA team tonight as the Russian’s take on Sweden in the two semi final matchups. If Team Canada posts a win, they will be headed to the gold medal game Wednesday night against either Russia or Sweden.

HONEJSEK MAKES WORLD JUNIOR DEBUT A STRONG ONE
Import forward Tony Honejsek has 2 goals and 1 assist for Team Czech Republic at the World Junior Championship. You may recall his first big showing as he scored on the first shot of the game when the Czech’s took on Team Canada. The Czech Republic team will play in the relegation round Tuesday.

JANUARY FORCAST
Warrior’s fans have many things to look forward to in the New Year. The Warriors have 5 home games in January, taking on the Rebels who have been on a losing slide of recent times but still are sitting above the tribe in the standings. The Warriors will take on division rivals, the Prince Albert Raiders. The Raiders are looking to desperately crawl up the conference standings in hopes of a play off berth. The Edmonton Oil Kings come to town to end a three game home stand. The Lethbridge Hurricanes will be in the Jaw on the 19th as the Warriors look to avenge a poor showing in their last meeting. Finally, the final weekend in January the Warriors will be facing a home and home with the Regina Pats. The Pats have won 4 in a row after the break.

The tribe will hit the road for games with Prince Albert, Edmonton, Red Deer, Swift Current and Regina in January. On top of a busy January, the trade deadline is approaching on January 10th. At this time next week the Warriors will have their roster finalized. Will any big moves be made this week in the WHL? Time will tell…
