WARRIORS DOUBLED UP BY HAWKS

The Warriors started off the night with a valient effort against the league leading Hawks. Two goals a piece were scored in the first period. Warriors Collin Bowman scored the first goal of the night. Sam Fioretti scored his first WHL goal and the second for the tribe. Portland's star studded team took over in the second period. Ty Rattie, the team's top scorer posted 4 points. Sven Bartschi from Switzerland had a goal.


Top pick of the 2009 Bantam Draft, Derrick Pouliot showed just why he was the first overall pick along with 5th round NHL draft Pick Nino Neiderreiter with 2 points. Antonin Honesjek would give the tribe a bit of hope in the third, making in just a 5-3 game. The Warriors fired 42 shots on net in the losing cause.
Warriors were without stars Quinton Howden (suspended) and Dylan McIlrath (injured). Call up Carter Hansen (Moose Jaw AAA Generals) was named the hardest working warrior of the night. Warriors return to action Saturday night in Brandon.
