WARRIORS AND BLADES TRADE

The Warriors have traded 18 year old defensemen Connor Cox to the Saskatoon Blades for a 2nd round Bantam draft pick in 2011.

“We would like to thank Connor for his time and efforts as a Warrior and wish him the best in Saskatoon and his future in the game,” said Director of Hockey Operations Alan Millar.

Connor had 3 goals and 3 assists for the tribe in 18 games this season. By trading Cox to the Blades, it will give way for some of the Warriors young talent to wrack up more experience. “This move is about the play and development of our young defensemen, Joel Edmundson and Morgan Rielly. The hockey club also acquires a valuable asset in a 2nd round pick,” commented Millar.

Cox will report to Saskatoon in the coming days.
