The Pats got off on the right 'skate' tonight, putting three goals in a row past Warriors goal tender Thomas Heemskerk. The Warriors answered the call with four straight markers before the end of twenty minutes.
Brendan Rowinski made his welcome back a big one with the first Warriors goal. Quinton Howden followed him up with a beauty of a goal. Antonin Honejsek tied it at three a piece. Defensemen… now forward for the night, Morgan Rielly got the go ahead goal and his first up front for the tribe.
Second period would see just a single goal from twenty year old Brendan Rowinski for his second of the night. The Warriors wouldn’t need anything more to take home the “w”.
Brendan Rowinski skated away with three points, as did Collin Bowman and Quinton Howden. Rookie Morgan Rielly had 2 points. The final minutes of play got a bit dirty, with three fights breaking out with Warriors Collin Bowman, Nathan MacMaster and Jesse Paradis taking part.
Warriors capitalized on 3/10 PP’s and went 3 of 4 on the PK. Tonight’s win made it 5 straight for the tribe. The Warriors face the Seattle Thunderbirds tomorrow night at 7:00 pm.
