Warriors Move Another 20 Year Old

The Warriors have traded twenty year old forward Thomas Frazee and a 4th round pick in 2011 and a 6th round pick in 2012 to the Regina Pats in exchange a 2nd round Bantam draft pick in 2011 and a 5th round pick in 2013. Frazee had been with the tribe for nearly two seasons after coming in a trade from Medicine Hat.

Thomas Frazee was one of four 20 year olds left on the Warriors roster. With four talented twenty’s filling roster spots; a decision on over age players is never an easy one to make. "Over the past week to 10 days we have had to make some tough decisions regarding our hockey club. This was another one,” said Warriors Director of Hockey Operations.

“The key to this trade for our hockey club was clearing up our 20 year old situation at this time and acquiring a valuable asset in another 2nd round pick,” he added. “We now own 6 picks in the top two rounds of the 2011 and 2012 WHL Bantam Drafts. We thank Thomas for his time and efforts with the Warriors Hockey Club and wish him the best in his future endeavors,” commented Alan Millar.

Thomas will be heading to Regina in time to travel to Brandon tonight for the Pat’s first road game.
