Russia Leads Subway Super Series 2-0

Russia has a 2-0 lead on the Subway Super Series against the CHL after a 5-4 shootout win over the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League last night. Matthew Bissonnette had a hat trick in the loss for the QMJHL.

Russia swept the QMJHL, and is now off to Ontario for games against team OHL. Their first game is tonight in Ottawa, the series takes a break on the weekend before picking back up Monday in Sault Ste. Marie.

The Super Series comes to Saskatchewan next week for games in Regina and Moose Jaw on the 16th and 17th. Brandon Wheat Kings blueliner Ryan Pulock has been added to the WHL roster, replacing injured Warrior Morgan Rielly.
