Hockey Ops Announcements


WEISGERBER BACK WITH WARRIORS



Moose Jaw, SK. ---The Moose Jaw Warriors announced today that Trevor Weisgerber will be back with the team as an Assistant Coach.   



"We are very pleased to announce today that Trevor Weisgerber will remain with the hockey club as an assistant coach,” said Director of Hockey Operations Alan Millar. 



"Trevor is a knowledgeable coach who gained valuable experience last year; his first in the WHL. He will be an excellent fit on our coaching staff working closely with Mike Stothers and Mike Vandenberghe. "



Trevor came to the Warriors last season after spending the 09/10 season with the Kindersley Klippers as the Assistant Coach.  Trevor played seven years of professional hockey with the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees, Rocky Mountain Rage, and San Angelo Saints.  In his professional career, Trevor accumulated 345 points. 

 
AMIOT RENEWS WITH TRIBE

Moose Jaw, SK. ---The Moose Jaw Warriors announced today that Athletic Therapist Curtis Amiot has signed a multi year contract with the Warriors. 

"We are pleased to have Curtis re-signed in his role as Athletic Therapist with the Warriors,” said Director of Hockey Operations Alan Millar.

“Curtis is a bright, hard working individual who has been instrumental in the hockey club's transition into our new home, Mosaic Place,” commented Millar. 

Curtis has been with the Warriors for 6 years.  Prior to his time in Moose Jaw, Curtis spent two years with the U of A Golden Bears Hockey team and spent time with the Okotoks Oilers (AJHL).
