Quick week with the holiday Monday!

Assistant Coach Mike Vandenberghe is on his way to Europe for some coaching work.... but the twist to the story comes in that he was on the Air Canada flight heading to Frankfurt that didn't quite get off the ground the first time. Busy weekend for many coming up... The Swift Current Broncos will induct legend Joe Sakic into their Hall of Fame this weekend. 

If you seen the post yesterday, the Saskatchewan Hockey Hall of Fame is taking nominations for potential inductees; if you have someone you think is perfect candidate be sure to nominate them. 

Another note on the Bronocs, they have released Killian Hutt (Former Regina Pat).

Quinton Howden continues practices in Edmonton as part of WJ camp.  Quinton is on Team White which contains three other WHL players in Ryan Nugent Hopkins, Tyler Bunz and Ty Rattie.   Quinton will play in two games this weekend, 7 pm tomorrow and 6 pm Sunday.  Best of luck to him!

The Moose Jaw Miller Express suffered a tough loss in the WMBL East Final to to the Regina Red Sox by a score of 6-5.  The series continues over the weekend. 

Are yout going to the Queen City Ex this weekend?  I may check it out.
