Friday Fun

Morgan Rielly is heading to the Canada’s National Men’s Summer Under-18 Team selection camp, which runs from July 30 to August 2 at Father David Bauer Olympic Arena in Calgary, home of Canada’s national teams.

Quinton Howden will be heading to Edmonton on August 3rd for World Junior camp.  He has been working very hard over the summer; training in Calgary for a good part of the off season.  Here is the full article....

Trades are starting to roll out in the WHL.  The Pats acquired 19 year old, D-man Brandon Underwood from Kamloops yesterday. 

Colorado first-round draft picks Gabriel Landeskog and Duncan Siemens moved a step closer to making it to the NHL on Thursday by signing their three-year entry-level contracts. Landeskog was the No. 2 pick in the 2011 Entry Draft while Siemens was selected with the No. 11 pick.

Letters are being signed... sealed... and delivered to Season Ticket Holders today.  It is an exciting letter, maybe the most exciting one in Warriors history?

The City is getting the keys to the multiplex from the Builders today; but that doesn't mean the Warriors will be in the new facility quite yet.  The building will not be open to the public until the week of August 15th. 

Warriors training camp is set for August 24th to the 27th with the Black and White Game on Sunday August 28th.  Camp will be in the Downtown Events Centre. 

Don't forget in amoungst all the excitement, the Warriors will be hosting the Hall of Fame Weekend on August 19th and 20th.  Banquet on Friday; Golf on Saturday.  Call the office to get your tickets.  694-5711
