Hockey Noise

The Calgary Hitmen Hockey Club announced Assistant General Manager and Head Scout Brad Whelen has accepted a position with the National Hockey League’s Tampa Bay Lightning.
The NHL is officially coming back to Winnipeg!

In a unanimous decision, delivered at a downtown New York hotel, the vote makes the move official It is the the first move from the U.S. to Canada since the Atlanta Flames in 1980.  Canada now has 7 NHL teams and the Peg will be the smallest in the league with 15,000 seats.
