WARRIORS TAKE BOTH WEEKEND GAMES
The Regina Pats took the Warriors down to the wire in their final home and home series. Friday night the Warriors stopped by the Brandt Center for the first meeting of the weekend. A slow start to the night seen the Warriors down a goal in the first twenty minutes. Two Warriors goals from Spencer Edwards and Andrew Johnson brought the tribe to two goals for both teams. Jordan Weal scored his second of the night and took over the lead in the second. Morgan Rielly found the back of the net for the third Warrior goal and Sebastian Svendsen was able to knock another by Damien Ketlo for the win.

Saturday night featured the last game between the Pats and Warriors in the Crushed Can. Goals were hard to come by in the sold out match up. Just a single goal for each team would send the game into overtime and later a shoot out. The Warriors scored on their first run at Ketlo with a Quinton Howden marker. Thomas Heemskerk would turn away both Regina attempts. Sebastian Svendsen brought down the house with the game winner. Warriors take it 2-1.
