Warriors and Ice Game 3 Tonight

Notes from Kootenay... ICE CHIPS: The KOOTENAY ICE enter this week’s action with a 1-1-0 record (1-1-0 at home, 0-0-0 on the road and 0-0 in overtime) after the two games of the EASTERN CONFERENCE QUARTER FINAL against the MOOSE JAW WARRIORS…KOOTENAY finished the 2010-2011 regular season 46-21-1-4 (26-8-1-1 at home, 20-13-0-3 on the road, 1-1 in overtime, 4-4 in shootouts) and in fourth place in the EASTERN CONFERENCE and sixth in the WHL…The ICE clinched a playoff spot for the 13th consecutive season and tied CALGARY for the longest active streak in the WHL…KOOTENAY is facing the MOOSE JAW WARRIORS in the playoffs for the second time in franchise history…In 2001, the ICE defeated MOOSE JAW in four games in the first round of the post season…The week the ICE will travel to MOOSE JAW for Game Three (March 29) and Game Four (March 30) before returning home to host Game Five (April 1).
