Game one of the 7 game series goes tonight in Cranbrook. The team arrived yesterday evening and will be looking to come back to Moose Jaw with two wins. The team plays Friday and Saturday before returning home.
The Warriors split the season series-- 2 a piece in the regular season with the Warriors winning both games before trade deadline and the Ice taking both in the New Year.
Some noteables:
Cody Beach and Jordan Wyton; usuals in the line up will not be in tonight due to injury. This is only the second time these two teams have met in playoffs. Last time the Ice took it in 4 straight back in 2001.
There will be some Moose Jaw fans in the building tonight as a number have made the trip. Cheer loud! Sounds like tickets are still available for the game tonight....
Another note, the Mayor of Cranbrook has challenged Glen Hagle to a "jersey" battle... which will see the opposing mayor having to sport the jersey of the losing team.
