Big Win

It was a sentimental night in the Jaw. The night began with Yara Awards Night kicking off the festivities. This year's winner included:
Top Scorer- Dylan Hood
Fan's Choice- Spencer Edwards
Molson Cup- Quinton Howden
MVP- Thomas Heemskerk/Quinton Howden
Humanitarian- Spencer Edwards
Top Defencemen- Collin Bowman
Top Goaltender- Thomas Heemskerk
Mark MacKay Hustle Award- Spencer Edwards
Rookie of the Year- Morgan Rielly
Most Improved- Joel Edmundson
Most Sportsmanlike- Sam Fioretti
Scholastic Player of the Year- Sam Fioretti
Unsung Hero- Kendall McFaull

The first Warriors Captain, Mark MacKay was on hand for the final puck drop. WHL Commissioner, Ron Robison gave his wishes along with Mayor Hagel. Shaw broadcasted the final game in the Crushed Can.

Both the first two periods were remained scoreless. The third period featured a Collin Bowman maker to give the Warriors the lead before Michael Ferland tied it up. Overtime would bring no winner. To a shoot out we would go!

Both Dylan Hood and Quinton Howden were unsuccesful against Corbin Boes. All three Brandon shooters would be stopped by the hot Thomas Heemskerk. Tony Honejsek it his first game back from injury notched the game winner to give the Warriors their final historic win in the regular season of the Crushed Can. Warriors take it 2-1.
