Wheaties in Warrior Town Saturday

The Warriors will wrap up their pre-season schedule this weekend with a double header against the Brandon Wheat Kings. The Wheat Kings have won 2 of the pre-season games against the Regina Pats. The Warriors are 4-1 on the pre-season. The Warriors have had impressive statistics during the exhibition schedule.

The shots on goal have been heavily in the Warriors favor while on their home turf. In their first matchup, the Warriors fired 40 shots Swift Current's way. The next game, the Warriors managed 36 shots on net in the Pat's pre-season game. The tribe shot 33 pucks at Saskatoon last weekend. Along with an impressive shot total, the Warriors have limited the oppositions scoring chances with their strong defense and goal tending. Shots against the Warriors have been 16 (SC), 14 (REG) and 20 (SK) at home.

Warriors Import Michal Hlinka has three goals in 4 games and seems to be adjusting to Canadian hockey very well. Riley Reinbolt had a pair of goals on Saturday September 11th in Saskatoon. Dylan Hood, Sam Fioretti and Joey Kornelsen have multiple points in the pre-season.
Be sure to come to Saturday's game early as every seat in the Civic Center that is not claimed by a Season Ticket Holder will be posted with a "for sale" sign!

The Warriors head to Brandon Friday; listen live on Country 100 to both games.
