Good morning after the long weekend!
No rest for the Warriors on the holiday Monday. The entire team was down at Connor Park for the Season Ticket Holder BBQ and straight from there went to the Civic Center for power skating with Double Shift Conditioning.
This week a some Warriors will be flying out of Moose Jaw to all corners of North America for NHL Rookie Camps. While they are away, the young Warriors will battle against the Saskatoon Blades. The Blades were heading into the season with a TON of over ager's. They moved one to Prince George last week. They are in a similar situation as Moose Jaw with having to carefully select 3 20 year olds. They have many players headed to NHL camps as well.
Troy Brouwer was in town last week and took some time to skate with the Warriors. The Stanley Cup champion will also return to Chicago in the coming weeks to get the pre-season underway.
Season ticket numbers are still on the rise.... less than 30 to go to reach the 2,200 mark.
Work on the Warriors new website continues this week.... launch coming soon! The new website will have more in depth player profiles, better graphics, excellent video and a VERY cool design.
NHL 11 should hit stores today.... you getting one?
