Home Opener... What you can expect...

Over 250 walk up tickets have been sold today... if your planning on attending the LAST home opener in the Crushed Can, you can get your tickets online; http://www.mjwarriors.ca/... or call 694.5711.  With close to 2,200 season tickets space is limited!

Fans, be sure to be in your seat by 6:45... lights will be out for an awesome video portraying just how the Warriors have got to where we are today.  It's taken a lot of passionate players, moments, magic with a little bit of hard times all taking place under one "crushed" roof.  The video will show you a reverse look at just how much history lives here in Moose Jaw.  Don't be late, it is sure to be something to remember.

A full team intro will take place and everyones favorite moose, Morty will be back in full force.  Word has it his two biggest fans, Chief Turkey Feathers and Big Hair will be in attendance.

What you can expect on the ice....
The Broncos finished the pre-season with a 2-5 record.  The Warriors had the reverse with 5-2.

If you recall, the last time these two teams met was in the final game of the regular season which turned out to be pivotal game for placement.  The Warriors only won one game last season against Swift.  It seems Swift Current is 20-1 over the past 3 seasons against the tribe... a stat Moose Jaw would like to change heading into Friday's game.

The Warriors will have a new face in net tomorrow night, Thomas Heemskerk.  Heemskerk was acquired last week from Everett for defensmen Chad Suer.  Heemskerk had a .927 save % last year and took home 24 wins in 42 games.

The Warriors can dress three overagers tomorrow... meaning one will not be in the line up.  Hood, Heemskerk, Frazee and Edwards will be looking to fill those three spots.

Quinton Howden and Dylan McIlrath still remain at their respective NHL club main camps.  No word on their return.

See you there!
