Coming to the game tonight? Here's what you need to know....
Tonight at the Civic Center it's FIGHT NIGHT- Tie One one for Men's Cancer. All Warriors players will be arriving to tonights game in a special blue tie, embroidered with their initials. A blue tie is the symbol of prostate cancer awarness; a common cancer in men. A week ago the players did a photo shoot wearing their tie and tonight those photos (autographed and framed) along with the "game worn" tie will be up for auction.
The ties will be on display on the west side of the Civic Center from 6:00 until the start of the game. The ties will then move over the the east side until the end of the 2nd intermission. After the game, the ties will go live on the Warriors website (http://www.mjwarriors.ca/) for bid. Bids can be emailed to communityrelations@mjwarriors.com. The bidding will end October 6th at 1:00 pm.
Also at tonight's game, the Warriors will be selling "Dedication Ties", fans can buy a dedication tie and write the name of person they would like to donate their tie to and display it in the civic center. The goal is figuratively cover the blue lines in ties (200 needed).
Special guests will be joining the Warriors pre-game show for a special puck drop.

ON THE ICE...
Tonight will see the return of alternate captain Quinton Howden, also in the line up Dylan McIlrath who missed home opener in the Civic Center.
Point leaders for the Warriors in the first two games of the seaason:
Michal Hlinka- 2 points
Antonin Honejsek- 1 point
Jordan Wyton- 1 point
Sam Fioretti- 1 point
Spencer Edwards- 1 point
Goalie Thomas Heemskerk has seen 118 minutes of play and in that time faced 59 shots and saved 55 of them. The Warriors have a 91.7% Pentalty Kill after the first weekand have not been able to capitalize on 9 power play opportunities.
Brandon comes into tonight with a 2-0 record. Brandon took on the Pat's in their home opener weekend. Mark Stone leads the way with 6 points. Scott Glennie returned to the Wheaties earlier this week from Dallas and Brayden Schenn is still away at Kings camp. Shayne Wiebe is the team captain this season for Brandon.
Who to watch for tonight:
Moose Jaw- Keep an eye out for #21 as Quinton Howden makes his 10/11 regular season debut. After gaining some experience in Florida, Howden will be looking to come out strong. Colling Bowman (#10) was named third star last Friday; look for Bowman to show a physical presence early on. Dylan Hood (#28), Hood lead the way in the pre-season and although quiet in home opener weekend, Hood has the offensive firing power that may strike at any time.
Brandon- 6'3", 18 year old Mark Stone (#16) already has 1 goal and 5 assists in the first week of play. Captain Shayne Wiebe (#17) has had a point in four pre-season games. Scott Glennie (#15), this 6'2" center is what of the elite players in the WHL, his possible return to the line up will be an advantage to the Wheaties. Jordan Fransoo (#5), this D-man had an excellent pre-season and is only 17.
