Howden Lands on the East Coast

Quinton Howden is one of many Canadian hopefuls looking to make the World U-20 team to represent Canada at the 2011 World Junior Championships.

Quinton spent Monday in the air on his way to Nova Scotia, a place he has never seen before.  Quinton is headed to the East coast with a number of goals in mind. “I want to show the coaching staff that I am capable of playing any role needed. Going into camp I believe that if I have a chance at a spot, I will be a 3rd or 4th line guy— I will play that role to the best of my ability and try to push myself up and up,” said Howden. “Everyone there is clearly great hockey players, I am looking forward to meeting some new players and doing team building activities to really get to know everyone,” added Howden.

Stay tuned for updates from Quinton as he battles for a roster spot.
