INKED UP
A few signings to report after the weekend, both Matt Grant and Sam Fioretti have signed WHL SPA’s with the tribe. Both players had an outstanding showing at camp. Matt Grant is a ’93 born forward from Ladysmith, BC. Grant scored 21 goals and 45 points with the Comox Glacier Kings of the VIJHL. Sam Fioretti played last season with the Calgary Buffalos of the AMHL. In 24 games, he scored 21 points.
MARCOUX RETURNS
Dave Marcoux, the Warriors goaltending coach for the 09/10 season will be back as the 10/11 goaltending coach. Marcoux has been travelling Canada all summer hosting his own DMS School of Goaltending and worked with both Brandon Glover and Jeff Bosch over the off season. Marcoux served as the Calgary Flames NHL Goalie Coach from 2003 to 2009. Marcoux has worked with the likes of NHL greats Miikka Kiprusoff, Curtis Joseph, Cam Ward and Brian Boucher.
