Frazee at Dallas Stars Development Camp

The Dallas Stars hosted a development camp for over 30 of its top prospects beginning on Thursday, July 1, at Dr Pepper Arena in Frisco. The camp included both on- and off-ice workouts and on-ice practice sessions. The Warriors own Thomas Frazee took part in the camp. Thomas was among the the Stars’ last two first round picks, goaltender Jack Campbell (11th overall at 2010 NHL Entry Draft) and forward Scott Glennie (8th overall at 2009 NHL Entry Draft).

MULTIPLEX PROGRESS

CHECK IT OUT

SEASON TICKET FRANCHISE RECORD BROKE!

Moose Jaw, SK.--- After a great response to the Warriors season ticket promotion, offering 10/11 season tickets for only $350, the team is pleased to announce they have beat their previous season ticket holder record by selling 2127 season tickets. “As of Friday we have managed to set a franchise record for season tickets,” commented Warriors Director of Business Operations Corey Nyhagen. “We are extremely happy with the response from Moose Jaw and surrounding area fans and are looking forward to an incredible final season in the Crushed Can,” he added.

By reaching that number the team has welcomed 282 new members to the tribe. Although limited, there are still seats available for purchase. With a promise of similar or better seating in the new multiplex, Warriors fans are locking in while they can.

The organization still has their sight set on reaching 2,200 season tickets and with the next incentive program on the verge of being launched, the team is confident 2,200 fans will be enjoying each and every Warriors home game. “There are still pretty good seats available,” said Nyhagen. “The Civic Centre is the loudest, most intimidating arena in the Western Hockey League when packed and we plan to make sure that every team stepping foot in the building this final season knows that.”
Fans who want to take in Warriors hockey next season should save a seat while they can in order to avoid disappointment at the door.

Ice is almost in!

HALL OF FAME INDUCTEE THEO FLEURY

Perhaps one of the greatest Warriors of all time, Theo Fleury will be inducted into the Warriors and Legends Hall of Fame on August 20th.

Theo's accomplishments in the 80's are really quite something....

Theoren Fleury, as a 16 year old scored 75 points for the tribe.
The 1985-86 season had 17 year old Theo Fleury topping the Warriors scoring charts with 108 points. The Warriors 86-87 team was once again led by Theo Fleury in the scoring race. Eighteen year old Fleury scored 61 goals and 68 assists. Fleury was again in the top 5 scorers in the entire league.

Theo Fleury continued his scoring blaze in 87/88 as Captain, with 68 goals and 92 assists totalling 160 points. Fleury tied in scoring with Swift Current’s Joe Sakic, winning the Bob Clarke Trophy

With those totals, Theo holds the record for most assists in a single season and most points. Fleury holds Warrior career records for most career goals with 201, most assists with 271 and most career points with 472. To this day, Theo remains in the top ten in all time WHL scoring.

These stats are quite a feat when you think about a 5'6", 150 lbs young man posting these kind of numbers. Come join Theo and fellow inductee Scott Thomas at the Hall of Fame Banquet.
